Nanoscopy Netherlands (29-30 Jan 2014):
A two-days symposium for scientists ranging from the just-starting microscopists to experts in super-resolution microscopy, ranging from biologists interested in new technology to physicists interested in biological and ranging from just-started master-students to most-experienced professors. During the symposium all the current super-resolution microscopy techniques were discussed. After some introductory lectures at the first day Structured Illumination Microscopy and related techniques were the topic. On the second day the main focus was at localisation microscopy techniques like PALM, STORM and GSDIM but also molecule tracking, new fluorescent molecules and STED microscopy.
